We are pleased to present to you the 2017 Annual Report.

The Annual Report works in conjunction with our goals and objectives as set out in the Business Plan and is established to provide a snapshot of the year’s efforts.  We want to commend the 58 full-time members and 14 part-time members for their continued dedication in keeping Brockville a safe community.   All too often we see issues in our community which we cannot arrest our way out of.  The opioid crisis and our response to mental health are two such examples and we will continue to work with our partners to find the right solution.  Our continued investment in the community is something we are all very proud of and something we will continue.  The working relationship between the Board, the Association and Administration is very cooperative which helps to provide a united front in the delivery of our police service.   We were disappointed to see an increase in our driving offences including impaired driving and impaired by drug.  As we face cannabis legalization we will be diligent in our enforcement efforts and continue to adapt as the policing landscape changes.  Investigations are becoming increasingly more complex, as is the technology behind it, but we will have well trained staff who take pride in their investment to our community.  As we move forward we will continue to put the right people in the right places doing the right things!
