Mental Health and Wellbeing checks
On the 7th of April, 2017 at approximately 3:31 pm officers attended to a residence located in the centre of town to locate and apprehend an 80 year old Brockville resident under the authority of an order (form 2) issued by a Justice. The form directs police to apprehend a person and transport them to a hospital for necessary psychiatric evaluation. The female was located and transported to the Brockville General Hospital without incident.
On the 7th of April, 2017 at approximately 5:10 pm officers attended to a south end residence to check on the wellbeing of a 34 year old female at the request of the Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health team. Police located and apprehended the female under the mental health act. She was transported to the Brockville General Hospital for necessary evaluation without incident.
Fire
On the 7th of April, 2017 at approximately 7:04 pm police were contacted by the Brockville Fire Department and advised of a fire inside an apartment of south end building. It is noted that the fire was a result of a cooking mishap and that it was quickly controlled.
