Shoplifting

On the 8th of April, 2017 at approximately 10:49 am a 54 year old Brockville woman was apprehended for shoplifting at the Real Canadian Superstore located on Parkedale Avenue. Police attended, spoke to the loss prevention officer and continued the arrest of the woman who was later released with a future court date for the charge of theft under $5000 dollars contrary to the Criminal Code.

 

Theft from Vehicle

On the 8th of April, 2017 at approximately 9 pm the Brockville Police Service received a complaint of a theft from vehicle. The complainant had parked their car at 100 Strowger Blvd. between the hours of 11:30 am and 7 pm for work and when leaving discovered that someone had entered his vehicle and had taken a number of items.

Reminder – Lock it or Lose it

The Brockville Police Service would like to remind people to always lock their vehicle. Try not to leave valuables in plain view. Often these offences are crimes of opportunity and locking the vehicle is the best form of prevention.
