Shoplifting:
A 47 year old male from the Ottawa area was arrested on Tuesday afternoon when he attempted to leave the Superstore on Parkedale Avenue with approximately $1600 worth of merchandise. The male fled on foot when he was approached by the loss prevention officer. He was located a short distance away by police. The male was later identified with help from the loss prevention officer as he had been involved in similar thefts in the Ottawa area. He was charged with theft, obstructing police and released with a future court date.

The Brockville Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in learning the identity of the theft suspect pictured below. On August 19th at 6:40 p.m. the unidentified female entered the Quesada Restaurant on Parkedale Ave, purchased some food, but then proceeded to steal the tip jar.
