Impaired

On the 26th of August 2020 shortly after 11:00 PM the Brockville Police Service received a call about a suspected impaired driver.  A description of the male and vehicle was provided to our police dispatch.  Officers attended the area of King St. West in search of the vehicle.  It was located on Church Street travelling at a high rate of speed until it was stopped near Oak Crescent.  The 55 year old driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested.  He later provided samples of his breath to a qualified breath technician with results of three times over the legal limit.  The male was charged with impaired operation of a conveyance and operate a conveyance with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol.  His licence was automatically suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for 7 days.  He will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges.

Stolen Boat

The Brockville Police are investigating the theft of a 14 foot aluminum fishing boat and motor that was taken on the 26th of August 2020 around 5:00 AM.  Video of the incident has been released on our social media.  The two suspects can be seen using a black SUV to hook up to the trailer and commit their theft on Aspen Drive.  Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Cst.
