Warrants

The Brockville Police Services Emergency Response Team were busy again this morning executing two more warrants under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act (CDSA) and the Criminal Code at a pair of residences on Delhi Street.

Shortly after 7:30 a.m. this morning, the Brockville Police ERT team, Criminal Investigations Office, Drug Unit and uniform patrol, safely executed the warrants at the adjacent residences looking for drugs, weapons and other evidence for an ongoing assault investigation from July 26th-27th. All persons inside the residences were taken into custody safely and without incident. The investigation is still ongoing at the time with charges pending.

The two warrants this morning have made for a busy couple of days for the Brockville Police Services ERT team. Yesterday morning they were also busy in the City executing three warrants under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with members of the OPP Emergency Response Team and Streets Crime units. In total five warrants were executed on five different residences in Brockville searching for illicit drugs and evidence of related activity.
