On June 29th at approximately 7:50 am, Brockville Police responded to a theft complaint in the parking lot of the Comfort Inn on Jefferson Drive.
Sometime over night on Thursday, unknown suspect(s) removed about 600 litres of diesel fuel from a tractor trailer parked on the lot. There are no suspects at this time.
On June 28th at approximately 8:25 pm, Brockville Police responded to an assault complaint at a coffee shop in the south end of the city.
A local, 19 year old male, entered the coffee shop and confronted a male and female which resulted in a heated argument. The couple followed the male out of the location and both were sprayed in the face with what Police believe was bear spray. The 22 year old male and 15 year old female were seen by medical staff for minor injuries.
The 19 year old is currently wanted by Police for assault with a weapon, breach of his undertaking as well as his probation order.
On June 28th at approximately 3:10 pm, Brockville Police took a complaint of a break and enter at a residence in the center of the city.
The complainant returned home from a camping trip to find his rear yard gate open as well as the shed doors. At the time of this report it is unknown what if anything was taken.
On June 28th at approximately 9:00 am, Brockville Police took a mischief complaint involving the slashing of all four tires on a motor vehicle.
At the time of this report, the incident is still under investigation. The vehicle was parked at a residence in the south end of the city and the damage was inflicted overnight.
On June 27th at approximately 9:20 pm, Brockville Police, on general patrol and noted a male party passed out on the lawn of a school in the center of town.
The local, 63 year old, was arrested for public intoxication for his own protection. He was released when sober with a fine.
On June 27th, at approximately 7:15 pm, Brockville Police dealt with a local, 87 year old female who had showed up at the station needing medical attention.
Officers drove her to the hospital in her own vehicle so she could see medical staff
On June 27th, at approximately 2:15 am, Brockville Police responded to the King Street west area in regards to a female on the roof of one of the buildings.
Police have been dealing with the local, 19 year old for similar type incidents on a regular basis. She faces charges of mischief when located by Police.
On June 27th, at approximately 1:30 am, Brockville Police responded to a downtown bar to deal with an intoxicated male.
The local, 27 year old, was arrested and charged with public intoxication for his own safety and that of others in the area. He was released when sober with a fine.
On June 27th at approximately 12:10 am, Brockville Police attended the Brockville General Hospital to assist with an unruly, 15 year old, female patient. She was eventually arrested to prevent a further breach of the peace and released to family members later.
On June 26th at approximately 11:50 pm, Brockville Police responded to a domestic dispute in the south end of the city. The outcome resulted in a local, 39 year old male, being placed under arrest for public intoxication. He was released when sober with a fine.
