Disturbance

On September 16^th at approximately 5:30 am, Brockville Police responded to the streets around the water tower.

Reports had been received of a male party yelling profanities and wearing nothing but a sheet. Police located a local, 21 year old male, who actually identified himself as someone else. After learning his true name, he was arrested and charged with personation, breaching an outstanding undertaking as well as his probation. He was held in custody to attend a bail hearing.

Warrant

On September 16^th at approximately 1:50 pm, Brockville Police executed a search warrant at a residence in the south end of the city.

Police recovered property that was taken during the break and enter to “Hemp Heaven”. A local, 14 year old female, is under investigation for possession of stolen property.

This case is still ongoing.

Bail Violation

On September 16^th at approximately 2:10 pm, Brockville Police attended the Brockville Shopping Center in regards to a bail violation complaint.

A local female, was complaining of unwanted contact from two other 13 and 15 year old females. The accused youths were already on conditions to leave the complainant alone. Police located the 13 year old later in the day and she was arrested for breaching the conditions of her undertaking. The 15 year old has yet to be located.

Break and Enter

On September 16^th at approximately 3:15 pm, Brockville Police attended a residence in the center of the city in regards to a break and enter.

Suspects entered through the rear door of the residence and stole electronics and DVDs. Damage was also sustained in the residence by food products being poured over some possessions.

Police have arrested and charged a local, 13 year old, female as one of the responsible parties. A second, 15 year old female, is being sought as her accomplice. The two female youths are the same subjects involved with bail violations earlier in the day.

At approximately 7;30 pm, Brockville Police attended a south end residence in regards to a violation of an undertaking.

The same, 13 year old female was not following curfew conditions and was turned in by a family member. She was arrested and charged with the breaches throughout the day as well as the break and enter. A bail hearing will take place.

Breaching Conditions

On September 14^th at approximately 4:10 pm, Brockville Police responded to a complaint at a south end apartment complex.

Two younger females were bothering a resident of the building. Police dealt with a local, 13 year old female and another local, 15 year old. The younger female was under release conditions which included no contact with the older one. She was subsequently arrested and charged with breaching her undertaking. A future court date was given when released.

Missing Person

On September 15^th at approximately 2:45 pm, Brockville Police responded to the mental health building on Front Avenue as a female had walked away from the lobby, missing an appointment.

The local, 27 year old, was located this morning at her residence, safe and sound.

Threats

On September 15^th at approximately6:15 pm, Brockville Police attended a north end apartment building for a threatening complaint.

A local, 32 year old female was receiving threats through texts from her ex-husband. Police are now seeking the 30 year old male accused. He is wanted for uttering threats and a warrant will be sought.

Unwanted Male

On September 15^th at approximately 8:40 pm, Brockville Police attended the Galaxy Theatre to deal with an unwanted male.

Police spoke to a local, 19 year old, who had been drinking and causing problems. The male was found to be on a probation order with one of the conditions being no consumption of alcohol. He was arrested and charged with breaching his probation order. When sober, the male was released with a future court date.

Breach of Conditions

On September 10^th at approximately 4:30 pm, Brockville Police stopped a vehicle on Parkedale Avenue while on general patrol.

One of the occupants was on a recognizance for outstanding charges with one of the conditions including being in the presence of his surety. None of the other three occupants included his surety.

The local, 19 year old male, was arrested and charged with breaching his recognizance as well as an outstanding probation order. He was held in custody and will appear in bail court.

Public Intoxication

On September 10^th at approximately 7:15 pm, Brockville Police received a complaint of a male party passed out on the patio of a business in the center of town.

He had left that location prior to their arrival but was located lying down again a short distance away. Police noted obvious signs of intoxication and arrested the male for his own protection. He was released with a fine when sober.

On September 8^th, Brockville Police with the assistance of the Brockville Police Community Volunteers, monitored school zones.

Several drivers were charged with offences including speeding and driving while suspended.

Police remind residents to be careful of their speed and pedestrian traffic now that school is back in session. Fines double when infractions take place in these school zones.

Breaching Conditions

On September 4^th at approximately 1:40 am, Brockville Police on general patrol in the King Street West area.

Police observed a female party, known to Police, who was on numerous release conditions. While speaking with her, Police noted a smell of alcohol on her breath. The local, 19 year old, was arrested and charged with breaching her conditions. She will appear in bail court.

On September 4^th at approximately 11:00 pm, Brockville Police were on general patrol in the south end of town.

Observed two parties walking together who were both on bail conditions with conditions not to associate with one another. The local, 21 year old male and 18 year old female now face charges of breaching their release conditions. They have yet to be dealt with by Police.

Assistance Call

On September 4^th at approximately 7:20 pm, Brockville Police received a complaint of a female yelling for help at the rear of a north end restaurant.

Police located a parrot in the back shed of the building that was mimicking different human expressions. An employee from the restaurant had left the parrot in the shed while finishing their shift.

Unlawfully at Large

On September 4^th at approximately 9:00 pm, Brockville Police attended the Brockville Jail for an inmate that failed to show for his weekend sentence.

The local, 46 year old, was located and arrested later in the weekend. He was charged with being unlawfully at large and will appear in bail court.

Family Dispute

On September 5^th at approximately 8:00 am, Brockville Police attended a residence in the south end of the city for a family dispute.

Police spoke to a female resident who was complaining of an assault and threats from her brother. The local, 59 year old, is now wanted for assault and utter threats. At the time of this report, he had not been located. There was no medical attention required for the victim.

Breaching Conditions

On September 5^th at approximately 6:25 pm, Brockville Police were on general patrol on Buell Street.

Police observed a male party, known to Police, who was on probation conditions. The local, 15 year old, was with a group of youths, one of which he was to have no contact. He was arrested and charged with breaching his probation and released to a parent with a future court date.

Disturbance

On September 6^th at approximately 1:50 am, Brockville Police responded to a disturbance at a bar on King Street East.

Two local males, 21 years of age, were drawing attention to themselves and failing to follow direction. One of the males was arrested for public intoxication and the other male was arrested to prevent a further breach of the peace. The latter male, while in cells, decided to try to damage lighting systems and cut himself. He was informed of a new charge of mischief and released later with a future court date.

Impaired Driving

On September 6^th at approximately 2:30 am, Brockville Police dealing with a complaint on James Street East when they noticed a vehicle being driven in a strange manner.

The vehicle was stopped and the male driver failed a roadside screening device after supplying a breath sample. He was arrested for operating a motor vehicle over the legal limit and taken to the Police station to provide further breath samples. The samples taken at the station, fell below the threshold for laying charges. The local, 28 year old, was issued a three day licence suspension when released and his vehicle was towed from the scene.

Theft

On September 6^th at approximately 1:50 pm, Brockville Police attended the Yacht Club for a theft complaint.

The owners had items taken from the boat sometime overnight. This incident is still under investigation.

Breach of Conditions

On September 6^th at approximately 8:50 pm, Brockville Police responded to a group home in the south end of the city to investigate a probation breach.

A local, 19 year old male, had a curfew condition as part of his conditions. He was out of the home beyond his curfew while attending a local store. A future court date was issued when Police located the male and he was released from custody.

Break and Enter

On September 7^th at approximately 2:30 am, Brockville Police responded to a break and enter at Hemp Heaven on Perth Street.

Three males were observed running from the scene, all wearing hoodies. Brockville Police K-9 attended and searched the area with negative results. It is unknown at this time what is missing and the investigation is ongoing.

On September 8^th at approximately 4:00 pm, Brockville Police received information from Provincial Courts that a warrant was in existence for a local, 28 year old male.

The male was on bail conditions for outstanding charges and another individual had signed on to act as his surety which allowed for his release from custody. The surety attended court and indicated she was no longer interested in acting on his behalf. Police then attended her residence and informed the male of his arrest, taking him into custody. He will appear in bail court.

Domestic Dispute

On September 3^rd at approximately 7:30 am, Brockville Police responded to a domestic complaint at a residence in the south end of the city.

A 25 year old male and his 23 year old female, partner were involved in a verbal dispute.

Police felt that things would continue if they left so the male was arrested to prevent a further breach of the peace. He was released unconditionally after a cooling off period.

Domestic Dispute

On September 3^rd at approximately 11:20 am, Brockville Police responded to a domestic dispute at a north end apartment complex.

Investigation revealed the 25 year old, female resident, had assaulted her 25 year old male partner. She was subsequently arrested and charged with assault. After a short time in custody, she was released on conditions with a future court date.

Warrant

On September 3^rd at approximately 3:00 pm, Brockville Police executed a drug search warrant on a south end apartment building.

Police seized almost a pound and a half of marijuana and a large sum of cash. The street value of the drugs is in the thousands. The local, 44 year old resident was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. He was released with a future court date.

Breaching Conditions

On September 3^rd at approximately 5:40 pm, Brockville Police were on general patrol and observed a male party on a south end street who was known to be on house arrest.

The local, 19 year old, was arrested for breaching a conditional sentence order. He was held in custody and will appear in bail court later today.

Pulled Fire Alarm

On September 3^rd at approximately 9:35 pm, Brockville Police responded once again to a pulled fire alarm at a north end apartment complex.

Police have no suspects in these incidents and encourage anyone with knowledge to contact us.

Impaired Driver

On September 4^th at approximately 12:35 am, Brockville Police stopped a vehicle on a south end street after it almost struck the officers vehicle.

The local, 34 year old, male driver was arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving over the legal limit.

Breath readings were in the area of three times the legal limit.

Distracted Driving

On September 3^rd, Brockville Police laid two charges during the day for distracted driving involving cell phone usage.

Police remind the community that these fines are substantial and encourage people to pull off the roadway if you feel that phone call or text cannot wait.

Public Intoxication

On September 2^nd at approximately 4:20 pm, Brockville Police received several calls about a male party staggering around streets in the center are of the city.

A local, 45 year old, was located and found to be heavily intoxicated. He was arrested and charged with public intoxication. Later, when sober, he was released from custody with a fine.

Theft

On September 2^nd at approximately 6:45 pm, Brockville Police received a theft complaint at the downtown skate park.

A local, male teen, was approached by two older male teenagers who took video games from him as well as his hat.

Police have suspects in the incident but it is still under investigation.

Theft

On September 2^nd at approximately 7:30 pm, Brockville Police attended the library on Buell Street for a theft complaint.

A local, male youth was approached by older teenage males who took his laptop. Police have suspects in the incident but it is still under investigation. The same parties are believed responsible for this incident and the one mentioned above.

Threats

On September 2^nd at approximately 8:00 pm, Brockville Police responded to a group home in the south end of the city.

A local, 55 year old male, was reported by staff to be holding a knife to his own throat, threatening to hurt himself. Police spoke to the male to try and calm him down. The male was placed in cuffs but some force was required. He was then escorted to hospital for required assistance. No one suffered any injuries.

Pulled Fire Alarm

On September 2^nd at approximately 10:00 pm, Brockville Police responded to a north end apartment complex for a pulled fire alarm.

Information was received that a group of youths in the area may be responsible.

Police could not locate the youths at the time of their attendance.

Phone Scams

The Brockville Police are taking numerous calls of phone fraud.

The popular one right now involves people calling indicating they are from Revenue Canada. They threaten people with jail time, court dates and deportation if outstanding tax amounts are not paid up. If you receive one of these calls, hang up right away.

Bail Violation

On August 27^th at approximately 11:20 pm, Brockville Police attended a south end residence in regards to a bail violation.

A female party had signed on as a surety for the bail release of a male friend. The local, 41 year old, was out past the curfew set out in his conditions. Police are now seeking the male party who will be held for another bail hearing after his arrest.

Break and Enter

On August 28^th at approximately 8:10 pm, Brockville Police responded to a bar in the south end for a break and enter complaint.

Unknown person(s) smashed a lock leading into the office area of the bar and removed a quantity of cash.

The investigation is ongoing.

Drug Offences

On August 28^th at approximately 8:15 pm, Brockville Police stopped a vehicle on Centennial Road for a traffic violation.

Investigation lead to a search of the vehicle and a quantity of marijuana seized. A local, 23 year old male, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and given a future court date.

Lifeline Alarm

On August 29^th at approximately 1:50 am, Brockville Police responded to a south end residence for a lifeline alarm.

Officers had to force their way into the residence where they discovered a 94 year old male in need of medical assistance. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Breach of Probation

On August 29^th at approximately 8:20 pm, Brockville Police attended the Brockville Jail to deal with an intoxicated male.

A local, 27 year old male, had shown up for his weekend sentence but he was intoxicated. He was arrested for breaching his probation order and held for a bail hearing.

Unwanted Person

On August 30^th at approximately 2:30 am, Brockville Police attended to the Tim Horton’s on William Street for an unwanted person.

Store employees had asked the male to leave as he was intoxicated and loud. The male refused to follow direction and was arrested and charged with public intoxication. The local, 42 year old, was released when sober with a fine.

The Brockville Police are looking for possible witnesses to a motor vehicle accident.

Both vehicles were travelling north bound on Stewart Blvd. on Monday, August 24^th at approximately 2:30 pm, in the area of Dairy Queen.

Brockville Police have arrested and charged a local, 15 year old female with Arson in relation to the Hardy Park structure fire.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Brockville Police or Crimestoppers.
