Unwanted Person

On May 1st at approximately 4:25 am, Brockville Police attended a disturbance complaint at a King St. East residence.

Turns out there was an unwanted guest who was refusing to leave when requested.  A local, 29 year male was arrested for public intoxication.  He was released with a fine when sober.

Breach of Probation

On April 30th, at approximately 11:00 pm, Brockville Police stopped a male party riding a bike on Perth St.

The male was on terms of probation which included no consumption of controlled substances and maintaining good behaviour.  He was noted to be under to be under the influence of a drug while speaking with Police.  The local, 45 year old was arrested and charged with the probation breaches.  He was released with a future court date.

 

Intoxicated Male

On April 30th, Brockville Police attended to the King St. East area in regards to a male subject falling on the sidewalk and stumbling into traffic.

Police located a local, 54 year old male who was found to be heavily intoxicated.  The male was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place as police were concerned for his safety.

He was released with a fine when sober.

Assault Complaint

The Brockville Police are seeking the public’s assistance while investigating an assault complaint.

Yesterday, March 26th, around 3:00 p.m., a 50 year old female was assaulted in the area of King St. W. and Market St. W. Her injuries were minimal but Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the assault to contact us. Currently, a 51 year old male, known to the victim is being sought.

Impaired Driver

On March 21st, Brockville Police performed a traffic stop in the south-west quadrant of the city.

A local, 22 year old male, was arrested and charged with impaired driving. Samples of his breath were taken at the police station which registered over the legal limit. As a result, he was also charged with operating a motor vehicle while over .08%. He was released with a future court date.

Traffic Stop

On March 20th, Brockville Police performed a routine traffic stop in the north end of the city.

The 52 year old, male driver, was the subject of an outstanding warrant from the Leeds OPP area. He was arrested by members of our Service and then transferred later to Leeds.

Shoplifter

On February 4th, Brockville Police responded to Walmart on Parkedale Ave. in regards to a female shoplifter.

A 37 year old, from the Nepean area was in possession of property totaling more than a thousand dollars. She was also on conditions for outstanding theft charges from neighbouring jurisdictions. She was released with a future court date.

Weapons Offence

On February 3rd, Brockville Police received a complaint from a male party who believes he was struck with a pellet or BB.

The male was walking on George St. at the time. If anyone has any information or has experienced a similar event in this area, Police would like to hear from them.

The male was not injured in the incident.
