Driving complaint leads to the arrest of a 57 year-old Brockville woman.

Shortly before 10pm Friday evening, Police attended the Brockville General Hospital, after being contacted by a witness with concerns over a motorist’s ability to drive.

Officers located and spoke with the female driver and confirmed that her ability to operate her motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The woman was subsequently placed under arrest for Impaired Driving and Driving Over .08. Her blood alcohol concentration was found to be over twice the legal limit. She was released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date.

 

Impaired Driving

A traffic stop early Sunday morning led to the arrest of a 22 year-old Brockville man.

Shortly after 3am, while on general patrol in the South end of the City, police conducted a traffic stop on the male due to his driving behaviour. In speaking with the driver, officers were of the opinion that the man had been consuming alcohol. The man was placed under arrest for Impaired Driving and Driving Over .08. He was escorted to Brockville Police Service Headquarters where he provided breath samples of nearly three times the legal limit. The man was released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date.
