The Brockville Police Service attended two separate calls in relation to domestic violence complaints during the New Years patrol.
In one case it involved a local 21 year old couple where the complaint was an altercation with no injuries being observed or reported. The male was arrested for the assault and released with a pending court date.
The second case is similar in the ages however the couple live in different cities and were visiting the city for New Years celebration. The male in this case pushed the victim which caused her to fall and receive a head injury. He was arrested and was processed with a future court date.
During the course of officers patrols we are pleased to report zero cases of drinking and driving related complaints for the start of the new year.
