Suspicious Vehicle

Brockville Police are looking to speak with the occupants of a newer model black van in relation to an incident on Thursday afternoon.

At approximately 325pm a 10 year old girl was walking home from school in the area of Pearl and Park Streets when a black van approached her. The male passenger in the front of the van proceeded to yell something out the window about the young girl’s family to her. The frightened young lady then ran home and told her parents about what happened, and they contacted police who attended and spoke with her.

The van is described as a newer model black van with tinted windows and had a red and blue bandana hanging from the rear view mirror. The driver was described as female with blonde hair and there was a male passenger in both the front passenger seat and rear passenger seat. The girl did not recognize any of the occupants as family friends.

Mischief at Prince of Wales School

Custodians at Prince of Wales School arrived yesterday to find a broken window to the west side entrance doors of the school.

Sometime over the weekend unknown person(s) attended to the school and threw a piece of asphalt at the glass in the doors of the school, smashing the glass. No entrance was gained during the incident.
