Theft and Breach Probation

On the 11 July 2017, the Brockville Police Service arrested a 25 year old, local male in regards to a theft under $5,000.00 as a bag of clothing was stolen from a downtown business. It was also learned that the male suspect was on probation with conditions. The male was located, arrested and issued documents compelling him to court.

 

Mental Health Act

The Brockville Police apprehended a 33 year old, local male, for a mental health assessment after he expressed suicidal thoughts. He did this by leaving letters indicating the concerns with blood on them. The male was located and cooperative with police. He was transported to the Brockville General Hospital for the assessment.

 

Bail Violations

On the 11th of July at approximately 03:54 a.m. the Brockville Police located a 29 year old Augusta man at a north end gas station. The man was at large on a recognizance of bail with both curfew and association conditions. The man was arrested for breaching his curfew and being in the company of a woman he was not to be with. He was later released with a future court date.
