Shoplifting
On July 13th at 1:06 pm, Brockville Police attended a north end department store for a shoplifting complaint.
Two local 18 year old females had been apprehended by loss prevention staff after stealing items. One of the females was released at the scene with a future court date.
The other young woman was wanted on a warrant held by the Gananoque Police Service. Officers attended from their city to retrieve her after her release on our charges.
Warrants
On July 13th at 2:41 pm, the Quinte Detention Center advised our Service they were in the process of releasing a prisoner whose sentence was expiring. We held a warrant for a 27 year old female, from the Kingston area. Brockville Police Special Constables, attended the institution, serving release documents on the woman. She was issued a fingerprint and court date then sent on her way.
