Warrants

On May 16th 2020 the Brockville Police attended a south end apartment for reports of a family dispute.  The investigation led to the arrest of a 33 year old Belleville man.  The accused had a warrant from Brockville for failing to comply with probation.  He was also wanted by the Belleville Police for domestic violence related charges.  He was processed and released by Brockville, and turned over to the Belleville Police to deal with his warrant.

Threats

On the night of May 18, 2020 a 39 year old accused male and a female victim had been drinking at the victim’s residence at a residence in the center of the city.  The two parties engaged in a heated argument which resulted in the male leaving the residence.  The male returned later that day and threatened the victim, but left prior to police arrival.  The male was later located by police, arrested and charged with uttering threats.  The male has been held in custody for a bail hearing.

Bail Violations

On May 17th at 4:18 a.m. police on routine patrol observed a 30 year old male on Georgina Street who was out of his residence contrary to his release conditions.  The male was arrested and charged with failing to comply with his officer in charge undertaking.  He was released from custody and given a future court date.

Other calls

Officers were also kept busy over the long weekend with 5 mental health apprehensions, 5 domestic disputes, 6 motor vehicle accidents and 13 suspicious person complaints and 13 traffic complaints.
