A 31 year old male turned himself in to police for his warrant related to a domestic occurrence. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.
Public Mischief
A 40 year old male is currently facing charges for public mischief. The charge stems from the male reporting an accident that did not occur. The subject was involved in an accident earlier in the day that he did not report to police. The male then called police to report that someone had hit his vehicle and left the scene. Rather than reporting the first accident as required, the male fabricated a second accident. He will now be charged criminally for reporting the fake accident and charged under the Highway Traffic Act for failing to report the initial accident.
