Suspicious Vehicle

November 12th, at 8:30 AM

The Brockville Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a suspicious vehicle and driver.  On Friday morning between 8:30 – 8:50 AM on Pearl Street near Hamilton Street a 10 year old boy was approached by a suspicious male in a vehicle.  The driver began a conversation with the youth stating that he had been asked to pick him up.  The youth then ran to his school and did not have any further contact with the suspect.  The incident was reported to police the following day.

The vehicle is described as a black sedan with a scratch on the right front wheel well and a “Monster” energy drink decal on the front windshield. 

The driver is described as a white male 20-30 years of age, wearing a white toque, brown coat, black hoodie, blue jeans and had a moustache.

Assault

November 14, 2020 at 3:00 PM officers responded to a residence in the center of the city in response to an assault complaint.  A 20 year old male as arrested for assault as a result of the investigation.  The assault was on another family member.  He was released from custody with a future court date.

Impaired

On November 14th at 5:50 PM officers conducted a traffic stop on Stewart Blvd.  The 49 year old driver was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a conveyance and operate a conveyance with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol.  His vehicle was impounded for 7 days and his licence was automatically suspended for 90 days.
