Break and Enter
On November 20th at 8:46 am, the Brockville Police Service responded to reports of a possible break and enter at the Brockville Yacht Club. The caller indicated that they had observed a person climb into a boat that had been secured for storage. The complainant became suspicious and contacted police.
Officers arrived on scene and located two males, 22 and a 23 year, inside one of the boats. The officer’s investigation revealed that several vessels had been broken into. Both males were arrested and charged with break and enter and possession of property obtained by crime. The 22 year old male was also charged with assaulting a police officer.
