Disturbance

A disturbance in the west end of the City led to the arrest of a 20 year old Brockville man Friday evening. Police were called to the area after several 911 calls were received regarding an altercation. The man, who had been drinking, was found to be on conditions not to consume alcohol. As a result he was placed under arrest for failing to comply with his officer in charge undertaking and released with a future Court date.

 

Impaired Driving

A 52 year old Brockville woman was arrested early Saturday evening after fleeing the scene of a motor vehicle collision in the City’s south end. Just before 5:00 pm the woman was observed by witnesses striking a garbage can and a vehicle while attempting to leave an address on King Street. After the collision, the female parked her vehicle and began to walk away. Witnesses were able to identify the driver to Police as they arrived on scene. As a result of the investigation, the female was arrested for Impaired Driving, Drive Over .08 and Failing to Remain at the scene of an accident. Her blood alcohol concentration was found to be almost three times the legal limit. She was released with a future Court date, her Driver’s Licence was suspended for 90 days and her motor vehicle has been impounded for 7 days.

 

Warrants

A 40 year old Brockville man was arrested on outstanding warrants in the City’s south end late Sunday evening. While on general patrol, police located the male, who was wanted in another jurisdiction for numerous offences. As a result, he was placed under arrest and turned over to the Ontario Provincial Police.
