Violating Bail Conditions

Officers from the Brockville Police Service were called to a Laurier Boulevard apartment building yesterday morning when a caller spotted a 26 year old Brockville man in the building contrary to his bail release conditions.

Just before Noon police were dispatched to the building after confirming the man’s bail conditions not to attend to the building or have any communication with one of the residents of the building. He had been arrested on November 12th in relation to a domestic incident in the building and released on a recognizance of bail to not attend the building or communicate with the victim.

When police arrived they located the man inside the apartment of his November 12th victim. As a result he was placed under arrest for breaching his bail conditions and held for a bail hearing.

 

Domestic Arrest

A 20 year old Brockville man is facing domestic assault charges after Family and Children’s Services advised police of a domestic disturbance which had taken place earlier this week.

Yesterday afternoon the agency contacted police after they had learned of an altercation between the 20 year old man and his 19 year old girlfriend which had occurred on Monday. The altercation turned physical and a young child was present during the incident.

Officers attended and spoke with the persons involved and learned there was an argument which had taken place that later turned into a minor physical altercation. As a result the man was arrested for domestic assault and later released on conditions to stay away from the 19 year old victim.

 

Domestic Investigation continuing

Officers continue to investigate a domestic disturbance which took place last evening just after 9:00 p.m. inside an apartment at 16 Cartier Court.

Just before 10:00 p.m. Brockville Police were called by a 31 year old Brockville area man who stated he was in an apartment at Cartier Court when he and his 27 year old girlfriend became involved in an argument. The argument became heated and at some point became physical when he fled the scene and contacted police.

Investigators interviewed the man last evening but are still attempting to make arrangement to speak with the 27 year old woman with regards to the incident.

Police Assistance Required in Identifying Suspect

Brockville Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect from a theft which occurred overnight on October 3rd-4th between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. The victim had parked his vehicle near his house on Pearl Street and when he returned to his vehicle in the morning noticed his coat containing his wallet and phone was missing and contacted police.
