October 2 – 3, 2018 Incidents

Robbery – On Tuesday October 2nd, 2018 at approximately 5:30 pm, a lone male walked in to the “Circle K” convenience store at 250 King St. West. The male produced an edged weapon and demanded money. The local taxi cab companies were quickly contacted and provided with a matching description. An alert driver observed the male and contacted police with his last known whereabouts. One of the responding officers attended the area and located the male a short distance away.

A 26 year old Ottawa man has been arrested and charged with robbery. The male has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

 

Domestic Assault – On Monday October 2, 2018 a 46 year old local male was arrested for domestic assault and forcible confinement. The charges stem from a domestic incident that was brought forward to police by concerned family members. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

 

Warrants – On the 2nd of October 2018 a 28 year old Brockville man was arrested by the OPP for our outstanding warrants. The warrants were for failing to attend court.
