The Brockville Police Service is proud supporters of the National Peace Officers Memorial Run. This run travels from Queens Park in Toronto to Parliament Hill in Ottawa during the last weekend in September. The run coincides with the Peace Officers Memorial which occurs on the last Sunday in September on Parliament Hill. Peace Officers from across the world attend Ottawa in order to pay their respects to officers who made the ultimate sacrifice that year. Canadian Peace Officers who died in the line of duty have their name engraved on a permanent memorial on Parliament Hill.

The run began to draw attention to the Peace Officers Memorial. It has grown each year and now involves hundreds of runners, cyclists and support staff. Brockville has always been an overnight stop for this event and we look forward to hosting our fellow Peace Officers for years to come.
