Domestics:
On the 22nd of September, 2019 Brockville Police received a call at 3 pm in the south end of town involving a 34 year old woman who contacted the police regarding a verbal dispute that turned physical between her and her 37 year old boyfriend, he had fled prior to police arrival.
On the 23 of September that same 37 year old contacted the police to request our assistance in retrieving belongings from her residence. At approximately 5:30 pm he was arrested for domestic assault and mischief. He was released with a future court date, and the property was retrieved.
On the 19th of September, 2019 at approximately 1 pm police attended a south end residence where a citizen reported a verbal argument. The argument was over some property and a bank card. The 32 year old male then grabbed the 26 year old female around the neck rendering her unconscious. Once she regained consciousness she obtained a piece of wood and striking him back in attempt to defend herself. He fled the residence. On the 23rd of September at 11 am the male surrendered himself to the Brockville police where he will be charged with Assault cause bodily harm and breach of probation, he was held for a show cause hearing. The victim received only minor injuries.
On the 23rd of September, 2019 at 12:20 pm a 67 year old male attended the Brockville Police station with his 37 year old spouse. They attended the station as they were observed together and wanted to speak to the police. It was known to police that he was on an undertaking with a condition that he not communicate directly with his spouse due to previous domestic related assault charges. The accused was arrested in the lobby for breaching his undertaking. He was released with a future court date.
On the 23rd of September, 2019 at approximately 1 pm the Brockville Police received information regarding a 38 year old female breaching her conditions by being at an address she was not supposed to be at. The 37 year old male was contacted advising she was at his residence and pictures were obtained of her there. She was located at 5 pm operating the vehicle belonging to the male. She was arrested for the outstanding charges. She was searched as well as the vehicle and located was a small quantity of cocaine. She will be held for a show cause hearing for the breach charges, as well as the possession of a controlled substance.
