On April 8th, officers from the Uniform, Criminal Investigations and Community Services offices participated in a targeted enforcement initiative.
Officers checked on the compliance of high risk offenders and their court ordered conditions, enforced the liquor licence act and municipal by-laws in targeted high incident areas. We are pleased to report that all offenders checked last evening were compliant with their conditions.
This initiative will continue throughout the year with Brockville Police officers targeting various high risk offenders, high incident areas of crime and citizen concerns. The goal is to be proactive by ensuring court ordered conditions are complied with and reducing incidents in targeted areas.
