Update to Shoplifting Arrest December 7th
A 50 year old London woman and a 14 year old female were arrested for theft at the Shopper’s Drug Mart on Parkedale Ave. on Monday December 7th at 12:40 PM. Store employees recognized the 50 year old from previous theft complaints and contacted police. The previous incidents resulted in the theft of more than $2000 worth of perfume. Both were arrested in the store.
Both accused have been charged with theft and will appear in court at a later date.
“Police executed a search warrant on the seized vehicle used in Monday’s shoplifting occurrence and recovered approximately $13, 000 worth of suspected stolen merchandise. The recovered products range from electronics to cosmetics and health products.”
It is believed that the pair from London has been targeting communities along the 401 corridor. The investigation is continuing…
