Break and Enter

Brockville Police are investigating a break and enter to a downtown Brockville Restaurant overnight Monday. At approximately 10am Tuesday Morning officers were called to the Nakhon Thai Restaurant located at 28 King St West, in Brockville when owners discovered the break-in at the rear of the restaurant. 

Officers attended to the restaurant and seized a number of items for forensic identification purposes in relation to the break in.

The business suffered minor damage and an undisclosed number of items were taken from the business. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Brockville Police at 613-342-0127 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)

 

Stunt Driving Charges

A 19 year old Brockville area man is facing Stunt Driving charges after being pulled over on North Augusta Road last evening.

Constable Cam Young clocked a 2022 Toyota Tacoma travelling in excess of 100km/h  in the area of North Augusta Road and Waverly Drive, before eventually getting the vehicle stopped.

In addition to the Stunt Driving Charges, the young man is also facing a 30 day license suspension and his vehicle will be impounded for 14 days.

 

RIDE Programs

With the warmer weather and the summer holiday season fast approaching Brockville Police will again be stepping our RIDE programs throughout the city.

Last night officers set up on Stewart Blvd between 1am-2am and stopped a number of vehicles travelling north bound. Officers were very pleased to report there were no alcohol related incidents
