Fire Investigation:
One person has died as a result of a fire in the City’s north end. At approximatley 6:00pm on the 20th of August, members of the Brockville Fire Department, Elizabethown-Kitley Fire Department, Brockville Police Service and Leeds Grenville Emergency Medical Services responded to an active structure fire in the area of Windsor Drive. Two occupants were taken to the Brockville General Hospital for injuries sustained. One occupant has since died as a result.
At this time, the investigation is ongoing and involves The Brockville Police Service, The Brockville Fire Department, The Office of the Fire Marshal and the Office of the Chief Coroner. Police are asking that the public remain clear of the area while the investigation is underway.
