Disturbance at Gas Station Leads to an Arrest

On October 16, 2025, at about 5:00am, police received a call to the Proxy gas station located at 355 Stewart Blvd. Information was that there was a fight taking place between two females and a male, all found to be residents of Quebec.

When officers arrived on scene, they found that the altercation had escalated as the two females wanted to leave the male in Brockville, and leave in the vehicle with his belongings. Investigation revealed that one female was identified to be 25-years-old, and the driver of the vehicle, had been consuming alcohol. A roadside screening sample was taken and resulted in an “alert.” That female had her driver’s licence suspended for three days.

During the investigation, the second involved female was identified to be 25-year-old, and consuming alcohol as well. When officers were questioning regarding her involvement, she became agitated and began growling while punching and kicking their vehicle. Several attempts were made to de-escalate the situation; however, the female began striking the vehicle with her head, actually lowering her head and ramming into the vehicle. Officers placed her under arrest do to her level of intoxication and to prevent her from hurting herself. During the arrest she kicked and spit on one of the arresting officers. As a result, she was charged with two counts of assaulting a peace officer and public intoxication, and was held for a bail hearing. Advice was provided to the other subjects involved with no additional charges laid.

Arrest Made After an Assault at Brockville General Hospital

On October 18, 2025, police had multiple calls in relation to a 37-year-old, male who had been causing disturbances at the Brockville General Hospital and the Brockville Fire Department, throughout the evening.

On that night at about 9:00pm, after the subject caused problems at the Brockville General Hospital, the subject attended the Brockville Fire Department on Perth Street, where he proceeded to attempt to enter the building. The staff there secured the building and called police for assistance. Officers attended and located the subject and arrested him for mischief and causing a disturbance. Shortly after, while in custody, the male experienced a medical event and was taken to the Brockville General Hospital, again. While there, the male became agitated and assaulted a nurse by shoving her in front of the officers. The victim was not seriously injured.

Officers remained on site with the subject in custody until he could be assessed by the doctor. Once able, he was charged with assault and released from police custody with a future court date. No charges were laid in relation to his actions at the Brockville Fire Department.

Arrest Made Resulting form an Intimate Partner Violence Incident

On October 18, 2025, at about 1:00am, officers were flagged down in the area of Church Street and Buell Street. A 27-year-old, male was reporting that he was involved in a physical altercation with another male, and had been removed from and locked out of his residence. He reported that the other male was inside his residence with his girlfriend.

Investigation revealed that the three individuals were all together at the residence. During that time, the 27-year-old, male was engaged in an argument with his girlfriend, that escalated to the point that the subject struck her in the face. It was that action that caused the other visiting male to step in and engage in a physical altercation, to protect the female. This altercation resulted in the 27-year-old, male to be removed and locked out of the residence, just prior to flagging down the officers.

The 27-year-old, subject was arrested and charged with assault for striking his girlfriend. He was held in custody for a bail hearing. Any injuries sustained can be considered minor and non-life-threatening and no other charges were laid in this incident.
