Attempt Suicide

On September 8th at 7:30 am, Brockville Police attended a south end apartment building to check on a local 64 year old female. She had called a crisis line talking about ending her life.

Officers found her apartment secure and gained entry through the property manager. The woman was found unresponsive and pills were observed scattered in the unit. Ambulance personnel removed the woman from the home and she was taken to hospital. It appears help arrived in time for her but Police do not have an update on her condition.

 

Drug Arrest

On September 8th at 3:41 pm, Brockville Police performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the north end of the city. Two local males, ages 37 and 35 years were the occupants.

Police discovered the males had fentanyl patches in their possession. The 35 year old was on release conditions from outstanding charges, one of those conditions prevented him from possessing drugs. Both parties were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. The younger male was charged with breaching his undertaking as well. They were released later in the afternoon on conditions and given a future court date.

 

Criminal Harassment

On September 8th at 8:02 pm, Brockville Police attended a north end apartment building for a harassment complaint.

A local 25 year old female informed Officers that her 22 year old ex-boyfriend was continually texting her and causing problems for her over Facebook. Police are now looking to speak with the young man in regards to harassment allegations and possibly breaching his current probation order.

The investigation is continuing.
