False Identification leads to arrest

An alert staff member at a local car dealership contacted police when they noticed issues with a female’s identification as she attempted to purchase a new vehicle at the dealership.

At approximately 7:20 pm last evening officers responded to a local car dealership where staff at the dealership had almost completed the necessary paperwork for the purchase of a new vehicle for a female customer. While preparing the necessary documents, problems were noticed with the identification provided by the customer, and police were notified and attended. The woman was arrested for Fraud and found to be in possession of identification of several persons.

Detectives are continuing their investigation this morning.
