On June 5th, 2015 the Brockville Police Association announced the winner of the 4th annual Cops Care for Kids Program. The winner this year is 6 year old Zoey Gibbson, who is a kindergarten student at Prince of Wales Public School. Zoey suffers from a variety of serious medical issues. As the winner of the program, Zoey and her family are going to enjoy a weekend getaway at the Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls and attending to the Shriners Circus.
Every year the Brockville Police Association looks to give back to our community. In the Spring the Association asks for nominations of children from the Brockville area who suffer from a medical illness. Out of the nominations a winner is selected. When the winner is selected the Association looks to provide the child and family with any possible assistance. The common theme is to help make a memory that the whole family can enjoy.
Congratulations Zoey!
On Tuesday, May 5th, Brockville Police were involved in the annual Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run.
This event involves the athletes from the Brockville Special Olympics Chapter. Through donations of Brockville Police members taking part in casual wear Fridays, we were able to raise $748.00.
The Torch Run was comprised of roughly 30 individuals running from the Metro grocery store on King St. W. to the Home Hardware store on Stewart Blvd. The run was topped off with a Bar-b-que assisted by head chef, Chief Scott Fraser. Through the efforts of everyone involved, a total of $1666.23 was raised for Special Olympics Ontario. These funds are used to assist Special Olympians in covering costs as they participate in various sporting events all over North America.
Thank You to everyone involved for helping in this great cause!!
The Rotary Club donated $3,600 to the Brockville Police Service for the ‘Movies in the Park’ summer 2015 program.

The Brockville Police are pleased to accept 12 Teddy Bears from the Brockville and District Tunis Shriners.
At a special presentation the bears were delivered and another great community partnership began. Local Shriners want the Bears to go to children who may be in distress. The Bears have been placed in our police vehicles and will be handed out if required. Many thanks to our friends, The Tunis Shriners!
The Brockville Police would like to thank the Brockville Kinsmen for their generous support of the Community Volunteer Program.
Chief Scott Fraser and Volunteer Coordinator Adrian Geraghty are seen here receiving the cheque from Kinsmen President Steve Benoit and Vice President Tony Piovesan.
The Community Volunteers have logged over 800 hours of volunteer time in our community, covering a vast number of community events. This is all possible based on the support of the local Kinsmen. Thank you!
Brockville Police Service is proud to announce the new Brockville Police Community Volunteer program!
