Theft

On October 7th, Brockville Police responded to Walmart on Parkedale Ave. in regards to a theft complaint.

A 43 year old female and her 17 year old son were both charged with Theft Under $5000.00 Both accused parties are local residents.

Assault

On October 7th Brockville Police responded to south end apartment building in regards to an assault complaint.

A 51 year old male who resides in the building, assaulted two other residents. The victims, a 42 year old female and a 44 year old male, sustained minor injuries in the incident.

The accused was released with conditions and given a future court date.

Stolen Vehicle

Brockville Police are currently investigating the theft of a motor vehicle.

The 2004 green dodge van was stolen from the west end parking lot of the 1000 Islands Mall.

It was parked from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. on Tuesday, October 7th. The vehicle was locked and there were no keys left in it.

If anyone has information about persons in that area who appeared suspicious, please contact the Brockville Police.

RIDE Program

On October 3rd, Brockville Police conducted a RIDE program on city streets.

Approx. 120 vehicles were stopped. One three day suspension was issued for a breath sample obtained that registered in the warning range.

The local 51 year old driver left the scene after receiving his suspension notice.

Traffic Stop

On October 4th Brockville Police performed a traffic stop in the parking lot of a north end gas station.
Three local residents were charged with Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana as well as Proceeds of Crime.

The parties, a 33 year old male, 32 year old female and a 19 year old male were all released later in the day with pending court dates.

Police confiscated several thousand dollars in drugs and cash.

Disturbance

On October 4th, Brockville Police responded to disturbance In south end of town.

A 48 year old local man was involved in a family dispute and was chasing a family member with a shovel. The male was arrested and charged with Weapons Dangerous and Breach of Probation X 2. He was released later with a future court date.

There were no injuries sustained by anyone during the incident.

Domestic Dispute

On October 4th, Brockville Police responded to a domestic dispute at a south end city residence.
A 52 year old local male was arrested to prevent a further breach of the peace.

He was released later with no charges.

Impaired Driving

On October 4th, Brockville Police performed a traffic stop on a north end street.

The 43 year old driver from the Athens area was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving and Driving Over .08%

He was also on a Conditional Sentence Order and was held in custody as a result.

Disturb the Peace

On October 5th, Brockville Police responded to house party at a north end apartment complex that got out of control.

Two males and a female from the Athens area were arrested for Causing a Disturbance by Shouting.
The males, 47 and 41 years, and the 23 year old female were released later with a future court date.
The 41 year old male was also charged with Resisting Arrest.
