Theft

In the early morning hours of November 21st, Brockville Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was observed driving away from the rear of the Riverside Ford lot.

Investigation revealed items within the vehicle which were the property of the dealership. The recovered items consisted of vehicle parts. A 33 year old, local male was charged with Theft and Possession of Stolen Property. He was released later with a future court date.

Unwanted Person

On November 20th, Brockville Police responded to an address on King St. W. in regards to an unwanted person.

A 20 year old, local male was spoken to and found to be intoxicated. He was also on release conditions that included no consumption of alcohol. The party was arrested for public intoxication and breaching his undertaking in regards to his conditions. He was released when sober with a fine and a future court date.

Drugs

On November 20th, Brockville Police attended a north end apartment complex to investigate a disturbance.

While dealing with the parties involved, Police discovered a male party in possession of two different types of drugs and a quantity of cash. A local, 20 year old male was charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug for the Purposes of Trafficking, Proceeds of Crime and Breach of Probation. He was released with a future court date.

Search Warrant

On November 13th, Brockville Police executed a search warrant at a north end apartment as a result of an ongoing investigation.

Police seized a quantity of drugs with a $2000.00 street value and three imitation handguns. A local, 25 year old male has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking. He was released with a future court date.

Disturbance

Early on November 14th, Brockville Police responded to a disturbance in the King St. W. area.

There was an altercation between two adult females which involved a lot of screaming and yelling. A local, 32 year old female was arrested to prevent a further breach of the peace. She was released later the same day without charges.

Traffic Stop

In the early morning hours of November 15th, Brockville Police performed a traffic stop on a street located in the center of the city.

The 19 year old driver was asked to provide a sample of his breath into a roadside screening device. The sample was demanded after he was noted to have been consuming alcohol. The driver refused to provide the sample. The local male was charged with failing to provide a breath sample and refused with a future court date. His licence was suspended immediately and his vehicle towed from the scene.

Winter Parking

The Brockville Police would like to remind city residents about winter parking. Although the by-law starts November 1st, we wait until the first significant snow fall to begin enforcement.

Well, it looks like it is here!!

Parking is banned on city streets beginning at 2:00 am. When certain areas are in need of more attention the by-law could start for 11:00 on those dates. Residents will be advised through different media outlets on evenings when there is a change.

Domestic Dispute

On November 17th, Brockville Police responded to a domestic dispute at a north end apartment.

A local 30 year old female was arrested and charged with Assault and Breaching conditions of her Release from outstanding charges. She was held in custody and will appear later today in bail court. The 30 year old male victim suffered minor injuries.

Mischief

On November 17th, Brockville Police responded to MIE Autobody and Collision on Bartholomew St. in regards to a mischief complaint.

Six tires were slashed on vehicles parked in the lot of the business. Police are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to contact us. There are no suspects at this time. Damage was in the area of $1000.00.

Domestic Dispute

On November 17th, Brockville Police responded to a domestic dispute at a south end apartment.

A local 51 year old female was charged with Assault. She was released with a future court date. The 52 year old male victim suffered no injuries.
