On March 6, 2014 members of the Brockville Police Service with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and Technical Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the City of Brockville. Computers and other items have been seized from the residence containing images of child sexual abuse.
A 51 year old Brockville male has been charged with 2 counts of possession of child pornography, 1 count of making child pornography and 1 count of accessing child pornography.
The accused appears in bail court on March 7, 2014.
Brockville Police investigated a theft from the Parkedale Avenue LCBO on March 1, 2014. A female suspect was in the store at 4:15 pm. She selected several items, concealing one bottle of liqueur in her shoulder bag. She then paid for the remaining items and left the store. Staff members were able to confirm the theft and police were contacted. Police were aware of the suspect

On the 25th of February 2014 at 10 am officers assigned to the courts responded to a disturbance involving a 15 year old male. The male was taken into custody and apprehended in order to prevent a further breach of the peace. When the situation calmed down the 15 year old male was released unconditionally.
On the 25th of February 2014 at 10:20 am officers responded to a disturbance on Ormond Street at Central Avenue. At this time a 38 year female was located and was suffering from a mental health crisis. Officers contacted community partners and transported the female the BGH for assessment.
On the 25th of February 2014 at 8:45 pm officers attended to a North End business in relation to an intoxicated female. At this time a 35 year female from the area was located and arrested for being intoxicated in a public place. She was lodged until sober and released.
On February 24th, police responded to domestic dispute in south end of town. Investigation resulted in the arrest of a 47 yr. old local man. Charges of domestic assault, threatening and criminal harassment laid. Male was held in custody pending a bail hearing. No injuries to the victim as a result of the assault.
In the early hours of February 25th, police responded to a theft complaint at Mac’s Milk on King St. W. Local female, 38 yrs. old, arrested/charged with Public Intoxication. To be released when sober later today. Stolen property recovered which involved a very low dollar figure.
