On July 13th at approximately 10:20 am, Brockville Police responded to a mischief complaint at a residence in the south end of town. Unknown person(s) slashed the family’s trampoline overnight. The incident is still under investigation.

On July 12th at approximately 7:15 am, Brockville Police attended a residence in the center of town for a mischief complaint.
A local, 26 year old female, reported damage was done to her vehicle by unknown person(s). Police had evidence to the contrary which indicated the female was involved in a minor motor vehicle accident. Charges of failing to report an accident and public mischief resulted for leading officers into a false investigation. She was released with a future court date.
On July 12th at approximately 4:00 am, Brockville Police attended an apartment complex in the center of town after learning of a young male causing problems.
A local, 16 year old, was knocking on various doors in the complex and acting strange.
Police learned the male had consumed a controlled substance and he was taken to hospital for observation. Family members attended to look after him when released.
On July 11th at approximately 7:30 pm, Brockville Police responded to a dispute between a male and a female at a south end residence.
The female punched out a window in anger as a result of the argument. She was treated for minor injuries to her hand arrested for mischief. The local woman, 24 years of age, was released with a future court date.
On July 11th at approximately 6:05 pm, Brockville Police responded to the Court House Square to check on the wellbeing of a male party. Police discovered an intoxicated, 72 year old, local male. He was arrested for his own protection and released when sober with a fine.
On July 10th at approximately 6:50 pm, Brockville Police responded to the Brockville General Hospital in regards to a male patient acting up. The local, 35 year old, was suffering some mental health issues and staff needed help restraining him. Police left the area after the male settled down to receive needed treatment.
On July 9th at approximately 7:35 pm, Brockville Police received a complaint from a north end gas station in regards to a vehicle that struck a pole in their lot.
The vehicle left the scene and was located later in the evening, abandoned in the Halleck’s Road area. The vehicle had been rented by a local, 23 year old male. OPP later located the male walking along the shoulder of the 401. The investigation is ongoing. The vehicle sustained moderate damage during the incident.
On July 9th at approximately 3:30 am, Brockville Police attended the Leeds OPP detachment to pick up two males wanted by our Service.
A 44 year old man was wanted from an incident on May 29th when he failed to show at the Brockville Jail for his weekend sentence.
The second male, 26 years of age, was wanted in relation to an assault investigation which Police began investigating April 29th.
Both parties are being held in custody for a bail hearing.
On July 9th at approximately 1:00 am, Brockville Police attended a south end apartment complex due to a male party disturbing other tenants.
A local, 29 year old male, was located by Police in the building. He was arrested to prevent a further breach of the peace and released unconditionally later the same day.
On July 8th at approximately 3:00 pm, Brockville Police responded to complaint of an unwanted person at a south end apartment building.
A local, 51 year old female, was intoxicated and visiting another apartment in her building. She was asked to leave the apartment when a dispute began and refused to do so. Police arrested and charged the visitor under the trespass to property act. She was released with a fine when sober.
