Domestic Assault

On July 30th at approximately 3:30 pm, Brockville Police attended the Brockville General Hospital to investigate a domestic assault complaint.

The female victim was treated for minor injuries and released.

Police are now looking to locate, William Edward Baker, 34 yrs. in relation to this incident.

Anyone with information on his location are encouraged to contact the Brockville Police @ 342-0127 Ext. 0. Charges are pending.

Domestic Dispute

On July 30th, Police responded to a domestic dispute at a north end residence.

As a result, a 20 yr. old local female was arrested and charged with Assault.

She was released with a future court date. No injuries were sustained by the male victim.

Liquor Licence Act

On July 30th, Police located a male party passed out sleeping against the wall of a downtown establishment.

The 48 yr. old was arrested under the Liquor Licence Act for his own safety. He was released later the same day when sober.

Theft

On July 28th, Police received complaint of theft from parking lot at Camalor situated at 100 Central Ave. West. Stolen was a trailer and two Honda four wheelers.

The four wheelers, both red in colour belonged to a pipeline and utility location company.

They were taken sometime overnight and there are no suspects at this time. The investigation continues.

Mischief

On July 28th, Police dispatched to south end address in regards to a drunk male smashing a scooter.
Police arrested and charged a 38 yr. old local male with Mischief under $5000.00 and two counts of breaching his probation order.

Subject was released when sober with a future court date. The scooter did not belong to him.

Assault

On July 28th, Police attended Brockville Jail in regards to an assault by one inmate on another.

A 22 yr. old male from the Kemptville area was charged with Assault, Breaching his Recognizance and his Probation Order. Given a future court date.

Assault

On July 26th, Police responded to disturbance in Centeen Park.

Male party was assaulting another male with a hockey stick. Parties had been involved in dispute earlier in evening. Local male, 20 yrs., arrested and charged with Assault with a Weapon, Weapons Dangerous, Breach of Probation and two counts of breaching his undertaking in relation to older charges.

Subject was remanded into custody and will appear in court later today.

Warrant

On July 25th, Police court staff arrested a male party at court for an outstanding warrant.
While processing individual, a quantity of a controlled substance (drug) was removed from his person.

Disturb the Peace

On July 26th, police dealt with a male party on King St. who was running away from a disturbance.

While speaking with him, subject provided a false name and date of birth due to warrant in effect for him. Male party was wanted for failing to attend court and failing to attend for fingerprints.
New charges from Saturday include Obstruct police, Breach of release conditions and two breaches of his probation order.

The 21 yr. old, local male was held in custody and will appear in court later today.
