Well Being Check
On March 10th at 4:19 pm., Brockville Police attended a south end residence for a female in distress. Police had received third hand information that the woman was threatening self harm.
The 50 year old, originally from the east coast, was apprehended for her own safety. She was escorted to hospital for appropriate care.
Threats
On March 11th at approximately 9:00 am, Brockville Police received a call regarding a man threatening to shoot people.
The man was pacing in front of a vehicle in a department store lot in the center of town. Before Police arrived in the area, the male had left walking west bound on Central Avenue. Officers located the male in the area of St. Mary’s Catholic School.
After his arrest, Officers noted the man was in need of mental health assistance. He was taken to hospital and remains there at this time.
