Phone Calls

On April 18th at 11:56 am., Brockville Police received two calls close together reporting fake calls for service.

In the first call, a female voice indicates she has a weapon and is going to harm people. In the second call she threatens to shoot animals.  The phone calls were made from a public payphone in the north end of the city.

The investigation is ongoing.

 

Fraud

On April 18th at 8:13 pm., Brockville Police received a call of a potential fraud at a north end gas station.

A thin, black male, tried to purchase gift cards using a credit card linked to his cell phone. He was not successful at that location.  Police are aware he tried different locations in the north end but do not believe he obtained any gift cards.  He was observed driving a black nissan with Quebec plate number FKE9791.

The investigation is ongoing and Police are awaiting photos of the suspect.
