Warrants
A 23 year old female was arrested shortly after 9:00 am on the 31st of July for an outstanding warrant. She was located behind Kelsey’s on Parkedale Ave. Officers recognized her and executed the warrant for failing to comply with a recognizance of bail.
Disturbance
The Brockville Police Service received several 911 calls for a disturbance on William St. at Pearl St around 11:00 am yesterday. In the end one person was charged for assault and causing a disturbance. The 28 year old male was arrested and later released with a future court date.
Shoplift/warrants
A 51 year old male and a 36 year old female were arrested after police were called to Winners on Parkedale Ave. Store staff contacted police as they suspected the couple of shoplifting. Both parties are known to police and were arrested for their outstanding warrants. Officers arrived prior to any theft being committed. The female was released with a future court date and the male was turned over to a neighbouring agency for his charges.
Bail Violations
A 50 year old male was arrested on the 31st of July at 10:00 pm for failing to comply with his court order. The male was found to be consuming alcohol contrary to his conditions.
Flight from police/wanted person:
Albert Mundy 50 years old:
At 9:20 pm on July 31st, 2018 the above suspect was identified as the driver of a motorcycle that officers attempted to stop for various offences. The motorcycle did not have license plates or insurance. Mundy is a prohibited driver and is now wanted for flight from police and breach of recognizance.
