On Friday April 12th at 10:00 p.m. officers conducted a RIDE program on William St. The officers were only set up conducting the RIDE for one hour. During that time they issued one Highway Traffic Act charge, three charges under the Cannabis Control Act (for having cannabis accessible) and one 3 day suspension. The 3 day suspension is directly related to alcohol as the driver blew a “warn” on a road side screening device.
On April 11th, 2019 at 8:45 p.m. officers observed a 12 foot enclosed trailer being towed on a downtown street. The trailer had been reported stolen earlier in the day.
