Tires Slashed
Guests at the Holiday Inn Express woke up on Sunday morning to find their tires had been slashed in the parking lot overnight.
Brockville Police received a call from the hotel at 11:15 a.m. Sunday morning reporting three vehicles in the lot had their right rear tires slashed overnight. Sometime between 7:30 pm Saturday and Sunday morning unknown persons attended to the lot and damaged the vehicles tires.

Mattress Fire
A mattress in the back of a pick-up truck which caught fire Sunday afternoon on Stewart Boulevard was extinguished by the Brockville Fire Department.
Shortly before 3 p.m. officers were called to the area of Stewart Blvd at Victoria Road on a report of a mattress in the rear of a silver 2014 Dodge Ram truck. Officers on scene attempted to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher before the Brockville Fire Department arrived and eventually put the fire out. The truck suffered moderate damage and had to be towed from the scene.
At this time, the cause of the fire has not been determined.
Generator Theft
A George Street resident contacted Brockville Police Sunday afternoon reporting that he had his Generator and Scroll saw taken from the storage shed at the rear of his property.
Yesterday afternoon Brockville Police received a call from the victim at approximately 130 p.m. reporting sometime during the week of April 24-27th his 7500 Watt Generator and 16 inch Hitachi Scroll Saw were taken from his shed.
