Mac’s Milk Robbery
In the afternoon of August 15, an off duty member of the Brockville Police Service recognized our possible robbery suspect in the north end of town.
The local 28 year old has been arrested and charged with the robberies and will appear in bail court later today.
No further details will be released at this point due to the ongoing investigation.
Camping under Overpass
On August 15th at 1:33 pm, Brockville Police Officers noticed a man setting up camp under the 401 overpass on North Augusta Road.
Officers spoke to the 50 year old, Ottawa native, and discovered there was a warrant for his arrest out of his home town. When contacted, their Service had no desire to come and return the man. This resulted in his release.
A while later, Police learned the man was also on court conditions which he was breaching. One of the conditions included not to leave Ottawa city limits. Now facing new charges, Officers returned to the campsite but the individual had packed up and left.
A warrant is now being sought for his arrest.
