Male Causing Disturbance on Via Train
On August 20, 2022 at about 10:00AM, the Brockville Police Service received a report of a male causing a disturbance on the Westbound Via train, approaching Brockville. The individual causing issues was identified to be a 29-year-old male. Investigation revealed that the male was intoxicated. He was removed from the train and arrested for public intoxication. He was held until sober as he did not have the ability to care for himself. At times he was uncooperative with officers. Once sober, he was released and charged with public intoxication.
Domestic Disturbance
On August 20, 2022 at about 2:00PM, the Brockville Police Service received a complaint regarding shouting as a possible domestic disturbance, at an apartment building on Kensington Pkwy. Officers attended the scene and located the male and female couple involved. Investigation revealed that the 24-year-old female had assaulted her male partner by striking him with a 10lbs weight during an altercation. The male did not require medical attention. During the investigation the determination was made to arrest the female for assault with a weapon. She was taken into custody and later released on conditions and with a future court date for the offence of assault with a weapon.
Threats
On August 21, 2022 at about 12:00PM, the Brockville Police Service received a complaint from mental health workers regarding threatening comments from one of their clients. The client was identified to be a 46-year-old male who resides in the area of Cartier Crt. He was making various comments to cause death to mental health workers who work to assist him. Due to the remarks and significant safety concern, the male was arrested and held for bail for the offence of utter threats.
Cause Disturbance
On August 21, 2022 at about 7:00PM, the Brockville Police Service received a call regarding a 29-year-old male in the area of Pearl St. W., yelling, shouting and causing a disturbance. Officers attended the area and located the male in question. Investigation revealed that the male was intoxicated by alcohol and drugs. He was arrested for public intoxication and held until sober.
Warrants
On August 20, 2022 at about 2:00AM, the Brockville Police Service learned that the OPP had a 29-year-old male in their custody who had an arrest warrant held by the Brockville Police Service. The warrant was issued as a result of an investigation from early July at the Mobile Gas location on Parkedale Ave. The charges laid are for possession of counterfeit money, fraud under $5,000.00 and fail to comply with probation. Officers from the Brockville Police Service attended to his location and executed the warrant. He was arrested and released with a future court date.

On August 22, 2022 at about 3:00AM, the Brockville Police Service learned that the OPP had a 31-year-old female in custody, who had a warrant for her arrested held by the Brockville Police Service. The warrant was a bench warrant for failing to attend court regarding charges of drug possession and failing to comply with probation. The warrant was executed and she was released with a future court date.

On August 22, 2022 at about 3:45AM, officers from the Brockville Police Service located and arrested a 36-year-old male, in the area of Buell St. who had a warrant out for his arrest. He was wanted for a charge of failing to comply with his probation. The warrant was executed and he was released with a future court date.
