Houses Entered

On August 30th in the morning hours, Brockville Police received complaints of two homes entered overnight. Both homes are located in the north end of the city and it appears the same suspect(s) may be responsible for the thefts.

A wallet and keys were removed from one residence and a purse from the other.

Police remind the community to secure all doors and windows at night. If leaving patio doors open to cool your residence, secure the sliding screen portion.

 

Domestic Dispute Results in Arrest

On August 30th at 9:02 pm, Brockville Police attended a domestic dispute at a south end residence. Police spoke with the couple having the disagreement and got them to settle down.

Another male who was a guest at the residence, was found to be on release conditions for outstanding charges. One of the conditions involved abstaining from the consumption of alcohol. Police noted the male had been drinking. He was also on probation with a condition to keep the peace and behave. The local 56 year old was arrested and charged with breaching both his release conditions and his probation order. He was held for a bail hearing.
