Disturb the Peace

On October 17th, Brockville Police responded to a fighting complaint on King St. W.

As a result of the investigation, two local 15 year old females were charged with Cause a Disturbance by Fighting and Breaching their Probation orders. They were both released with a future court date.

Unlawfully at Large

On October 17th, Brockville Police responded to a complaint at the Brockville Jail. A male party who was to report for a weekend sentence did not show up.

Later in the weekend, police arrested a 27 year old local male and charged him with being Unlawfully at Large. He will appear later today in bail court.

Unwanted Person

On October 18th, Brockville Police responded to the Phoenix Bar on King St. E. in regards to an unwanted male party.

The subject had been removed from the bar earlier in the evening. He returned and was brandishing a small pocket knife. Police arrested and charged the male with Weapons Dangerous and Breach of Probation.

The 20 year old, local male was released with a future court date.

Fire

In the early morning hours of October 18th, Brockville Police responded to a residential fire at the intersection of James St. and Ormond St.

Two houses were damaged and there were no injuries. The fire is still under investigation but is not being looked at as suspicious at this time.

Possession of a Controlled Substance

On October 18th, Brockville Police dealing with male subject in front lobby of station.
The male stunk of recent drug use. He attended the station to report a stolen bike.

Investigation revealed the accused to be in possession of a quantity of a controlled substance.
He was arrested and charged with the possession and released with a future court date.

Impaired Driver

On October 19th, Brockville Police responded to a single vehicle collision on Maple St.

The vehicle had left the roadway, severing a hydro pole. Power was lost to some residents in the area as a result. A 25 year old, local male was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving and Operating a Motor Vehicle Over .08%.

There were no life threatening injuries suffered by the driver. He was released later the same day with a future court date.

Home Invasion

On October 20th, Brockville Police responded to a residence in the south end regarding a home invasion.

A group of males entered the residence and after a confrontation with people inside, they were chased from the area. Suspects have been identified by Police and the investigation at this time is ongoing.

Theft from Vehicles

Overnight October 10th / 11th, Brockville Police received several calls of vehicles entered overnight in the north end of town.

Thefts of different items were reported and police ask anyone who had their vehicle entered to contact us for the purposes of seeing where subjects were active. It also assists police when they come across property that may have been stolen.

Once again, these vehicles are typically unlocked. Police remind the public to lock your vehicle doors at all times of day or night.

No suspects have been identified at this time.

Drugs

On October 14th, Brockville Police stopped a vehicle during general patrol which resulted in the locating and seizing of a quantity of Marijuana.

A Toledo man, 21 years of age, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was released at the scene with a future court date.

Drugs

On October 13th, Brockville Police dealt with a parked motor vehicle in the north end of the city.
The occupants of the motor vehicle were found to be in possession of a controlled substance. (Drugs)
A local 17 year old female was charged with possessing a small quantity of cocaine.
She was released at the scene with a future court date.
