Attempted Break-in

A Brockville woman attended to the Brockville Police Station yesterday morning shortly after 8:00 a.m. to report sometime overnight Sunday an attempt was made to break in to her storage shed at her Ormond Street property.

The lock for the shed had been completely removed and entry gained but at the time of the report she was unsure if anything had been removed from the shed.

Youths caught stealing at LCBO

Two Brockville youths aged 13 and 11 were apprehended at the King Street LCBO yesterday after staff there caught them stealing two bottles of alcohol from the shelves.

Officers were called to attend the King Street LCBO yesterday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.

after it was reported the two young offenders had been apprehended a short distance away. The 13 year old boy is facing charges of theft and breaching his probation while the 11 year old youth was turned over to his parents.

The stolen alcohol was recovered and returned to the store.
