Stolen Vehicle recovered in Toronto
A Dana Street woman contacted the Brockville Police yesterday morning to report her grey 2006 Ford 500 was stolen from her driveway sometime overnight.
Brockville Police were called to the residence just after 7:30 am and met with the woman told police her vehicle was parked in the driveway overnight and had a full tank of gas. She was awakened overnight by her dog barking and suspects that may have been when the car was taken.
Shortly after 9:00 p.m. last evening the Brockville Police were notified by the Toronto Police the vehicle had been recovered in their jurisdiction and it was being held for forensic examination.

Impaired Driver arrested
A 21 year old Maitland area man is facing charges of impaired driving after a traffic stop yesterday evening just after 6:30 p.m.
Ministry of Transportation officers were driving through Brockville when they observed a silver 2004 Ford Diesel pick up with Competitive Roofing on the doors having open liquor in the vehicle. MTO officers performed a traffic stop and noted the driver of alcohol on his breath and contacted Brockville Police to attend. The driver registered “fail’ on the roadside screening device and was arrested having over the legal limit of alcohol in his system and driving.
He was conveyed to the Brockville Police Service where he provided two samples of his breath almost two times the legal limit of alcohol in his blood. He was charged with impaired driving and driving with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The truck was towed and impounded as a result of the charges.
