Police Pursuit

The Brockville Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle and occupants involved in a pursuit from early this morning, which began near Parkedale Avenue and Broome Road.

Officers were on general patrol in the area of MacGregor Crane at 2:00 a.m. checking on the building when a small silver vehicle came into the area. The officer attempted to approach the vehicle and it fled the area at a high rate of speed. The officer then pursued the vehicle for a short period of time when the vehicle fled westbound on the 401. After a short distance on the 401 at speeds of approximately 190 km/h the officers discontinued the pursuit.20171106 Suspect Vehicle

Police are looking for a small silver or grey sedan, possibly a Pontiac G6 or Chevrolet product with two occupants.

Domestic Arrest

Brockville Police are currently investigating a domestic disturbance at a Kensington Parkway apartment building from early this morning.

At 5:25 a.m. officers were called to the building when a resident of the building reported a male and a female in the lobby who had been arguing all night. The young woman was crying and upset and when officers arrived requested an ambulance to transport her to the Brockville General Hospital for her injuries.

When officers arrived the male subject fled on foot and was running through parking lots. He initially evaded the responding officers however he was later located and taken into custody by police.

Officers have been speaking with the 21 year old woman after her release from hospital. A 19 year old Brockville man is currently in custody and appearing in bail court facing a number of domestic related charges.The incident remains under investigation.
