Driving Offence

On May 29th at approximately 8:00 pm, Brockville Police received a complaint of a vehicle being driven erratically on north end streets.

Police located the vehicle after several minutes and dealt with the male driver who had been drinking.  The local, 21 year old, felt it was within his rights to refuse to give a breath sample into a roadside screening device. This however is not the case.  He was charged with refusing to provide a sample and was released with a future court date.

The vehicle was impounded and his drivers licence was suspended on the spot for 90 days.
