When she refused, officers issued her an Appearance Notice for a future court date for charges of impaired driving and refusing to provide a breath sample. Her vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days.
Domestic Dispute leads to Breach charges
Officers responding to a domestic disturbance at a King Street East apartment located a 24 year old Brockville woman violating her bail conditions.
Just after 7:00 p.m. last evening Brockville officers responded to a domestic disturbance after neighbours complained of yelling and banging going on in a nearby apartment. When officers arrived the 26 year old male resident had fled the apartment, but officers located the woman inside hiding in a closet.
Further investigation revealed she was on an undertaking with a condition not to be in the apartment. As a result she was taken into custody for breaching her bail conditions and held for a bail; hearing later today. Police are still looking to speak with the male resident of the apartment.
Warrants
Brockville Police received some welcome assistance from their friends at the Kingston Police when two Brockville men with outstanding warrants were arrested in Kingston in separate incidents.
A 35 year old Brockville man who failed to attend court on February 2nd for drug and breach of probation charges and a 28 year old Brockville man wanted on a warrant for a fraud incident in September 2017 were arrested by Kingston Police yesterday.
Brockville officers met their Kingston counterparts in Gananoque where they exchanged and Brockville officers returned the men to Brockville where they were released on the new charges and given future court dates.
